The Toronto Raptors play host to the Miami Heat at the Scotiabank Arena on Tuesday night. Here’s a Miami Heat vs. Toronto Raptors Prediction. This article will include a Miami Heat vs. Toronto Raptors Pick.

Miami Heat Betting Preview

The Miami Heat haven’t been playing anywhere near their best lately, as they’ve dropped eight of their last 11 games overall and they will be eager to keep it going after blowing past the Wizards in a 152-136 win on Saturday. Andrew Wiggins led the starters with 21 points, Jaime Jaquez Jr. led the team with 32 points off the bench, and Kel’el Ware had a monster game of 24 points with 19 rebounds and seven blocks off the bench.

As a team, the Heat shot a healthy 58 percent from the field and 17 of 39 from the 3-point line as they hit the ground running with 77 points in the first half and were able to pull their starters early after exploding for 45 points in the third quarter.

Toronto Raptors Betting Preview

Meanwhile, the Toronto Raptors have been in a rut as they’ve dropped three of their past four games overall and they will be hoping for a better effort after getting routed by the Celtics in a 115-101 road defeat on Sunday. Ja’Kobe Walter led the team with 16 points, Brandon Ingram and RJ Barrett each scored 15 points, and Jakob Poeltl chipped in with 14 points on seven of nine shooting.

As a team, the Raptors shot 48 percent from the field and eight of 20 from the 3-point line as they worked their way back into the contest following a slow start to the game, but just when it looked like they might take the lead, the Raptors allowed the Celtics to go on a pivotal 21-8 run in the fourth quarter.

Miami Heat vs Toronto Raptors Prediction

The Heat have ruled out Nikola Jovic, but they should have Tyler Herro back in action, while the Raptors are keeping eyes on Sandro Mamukelashvili, Collin Murray-Boyles and Immanuel Quickley, who are all questionable. These teams have already clashed twice this season, with the Raptors winning both meetings by double digits but they open as the slight underdogs at home in this spot. The Heat looked great in their big win over the lowly Wizards, but they were ice-cold before that win and I don’t really buy them as the favorites in this spot. The Raptors have struggled in recent games but I think they can get a much-needed win here against the Heat at home.

Peter Tran's Pick: Toronto +1
