The Miami Heat and Golden State Warriors meet Saturday in summer league NBA action at the Chase Center. Here’s a Golden State Warriors vs Miami Heat Prediction. This article will include a Golden State Warriors vs Miami Heat Pick.

Miami Heat Betting Preview

The Miami Heat bring in an experienced summer league roster, as Kel’el Ware and Bryson Warren are the only players under 22 years old. Of course, Ware is the player Heat fans will be watching the most, as the hope is he’ll be ready to play alongside Bam Adebayo sooner than later. Caleb Daniels, Neal Sako, Cole Swider and Alondes Williams are on this Heat roster, and they’re all 25 years old. Swider has 25 NBA games under his belt, which includes 18 for the Heat last season. Second round pick Pelle Larsson is also on this Heat roster, a guy who shot 39.7 percent from 3 and 49 percent from the field for his collegiate career. The overall experience could give the Heat an edge in this small summer league tournament.

Golden State Warriors Betting Preview

The Golden State Warriors are another experienced summer league team, as there’s only one player on this roster under 22 years old. The Warriors also have 4 drafted players in Gui Santos, Brandin Podziemski, Trayce Jackson-Davis and Kevin Knox. Pat Spencer comes in at 28 years old and brings a ton of experience from the Santa Cruz Warriors, while Knox has 77 NBA starts under his belt. Christian Terrell will only play in this version of the summer league, while Warriors fans will have to wait until Las Vegas to see Jimmy Whitt. I’ll be keeping an eye on point guard Yuri Collins, a guy who plays defense and led college basketball twice in assists at Saint Louis.

Golden State Warriors vs Miami Heat Prediction

The Golden State Warriors have the more proven players on their roster and the sexier names, so it’s not a surprise to see them in the favorite role. However, as I said before, I’m not thrilled to lay decent sized chalk in games like this. Also, the Heat have a long history of thriving in summer league, G League and preseason, as they have a fantastic development program and can squeeze every last drop out of their players. Should be a fun game regardless as both teams are stacked with older players. Give me the Heat and the free points.

Randy Chambers's Pick: Miami Heat +5.5
