The Golden State Warriors and Memphis Grizzlies are set to face off in a pivotal Western Conference Play-In Tournament game on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at 10:00 p.m. ET at the Chase Center in San Francisco. Both teams concluded the regular season with identical 48–34 records, with the Warriors securing the seventh seed and the Grizzlies the eighth. The winner of this matchup will claim the No. 7 seed and advance to face the Houston Rockets in the first round of the playoffs, while the loser will have another opportunity to qualify by playing the winner of the Dallas Mavericks vs. Sacramento Kings game.

Golden State enters the game as a 7-point favorite, having won three of the four regular-season meetings against Memphis. In their most recent encounter on April 1, Stephen Curry delivered a standout performance with 52 points in a 134–125 victory. The Warriors are currently healthy, with no players listed on the injury report, and are aiming to secure their first-ever Play-In Tournament win after an 0–3 record in previous appearances.

Zach Edey Over 8.5 Points

Zach Edey is averaging 9.2 points per game over 66 games in the 2024–25 NBA season. He is shooting 58.0% from the field and 70.9% from the free-throw line. Edey also contributes 8.3 rebounds and 1.3 blocks per game, with an average of 21.5 minutes played per game. Edey’s scoring ranks him sixth among NBA rookies this season. Edey scored 10 points the last time Memphis played the Warriors on 4/1. This is a good matchup for Edey. The Warriors have a relatively small starting lineup with Draymond playing at the 5. Edey’s height and size alone will give him ample opportunities to score in this game.

Steph Curry Over 28.5 Points

Stephen Curry is averaging 24.5 points per game over 70 games in the 2024–25 NBA season. He also contributes 6.0 assists and 4.4 rebounds per game, with shooting percentages of 44.8% from the field, 39.7% from three-point range, and 93.3% from the free-throw line. The last time Steph Curry played Memphis, he dropped 52 points. Steph Curry was bred to play in this type of game, and he knows that he has something to prove with how poorly the Warriors have played in play-in games.

Moses Moody Over 10.5 Points

Moses Moody is averaging 9.8 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game. He is shooting 43.3% from the field, 37.4% from three-point range, and 79.7% from the free-throw line, with a true shooting percentage of 57.8%. Moody has scored 10+ in only 2 of his last 10 games. With what’s on the line in this game, I just don’t see him being a focal point in this Warriors offense on Tuesday night.
