The Rockets are going to be favored because of the health edge. Even with Durant dealing with his issue, the Rockets have the better roster when the Lakers are without Luka and Reaves. However, as I said in the first write-up, would it really shock anybody if the Rockets found a way to blow this? The Rockets have underachieved all season given their talent and sometimes sleepwalk through games. Game 1 was a good example of that. They didn’t play a lick of defense and couldn’t find consistent offense.
The possible return of Durant will fix the offensive issues, but there has to be effort defensively. LeBron got his teammates involved and scored when he needed to. The extra day of rest also helps LeBron at his age. I just don’t want much to do with the Rockets, a team that picks and chooses when to show up. I’m siding with the Lakers and the points again, a game they could win outright again.
