Golden State Warriors Betting Preview
The Golden State Warriors have been in fine form as they’ve won six of their last eight games overall, but they will be eager to bounce back in this spot after having their four-game win streak halted by the Raptors in a 145-127 loss on Tuesday. Buddy Hield led the team in scoring with 25 points on seven of eight shooting off the bench, Jonathan Kuminga added 20 points on seven of 10 shooting while Stephen Curry chipped in with 16 points. As a team, the Warriors shot 52 percent from the field and 16 of 43 from the 3-point line which are respectable numbers, but the problems were on the defensive end as they were never in the contest after allowing 70 points in the first half to trail by as many as 30 points.
Dallas Mavericks Betting Preview
Meanwhile, the Dallas Mavericks have been in pretty good shape lately as they’ve won six of their last nine games overall and they will be gunning for a fourth straight victory after routing the Knicks in a 114-97 road win on Monday. Max Christie drained eight 3-pointers to lead the team with 26 points on nine of 13 shooting, Naji Marshall added 19 points with eight rebounds and four assists while Cooper Flagg tallied 18 points with seven rebounds and three assists. As a team, the Mavericks shot 49 percent from the field and 15 of 32 from the 3-point line as they caught fire early and exploded for 44 points in the second quarter to take a 28-point lead into halftime which allowed them to cruise in the second half and rest some of their starters early.
Golden State v Dallas Free Prediction
The Warriors are still missing Seth Curry and Jimmy Butler III with Gary Payton II listed as questionable, while the Mavericks are missing Dereck Lively II, Kyrie Irving and Anthony Davis with Daniel Gafford listed as questionable. The Warriors were on a great run before they lost Butler III to a season-ending injury, but they are still relatively healthy compared to the Mavericks who are still missing so many key players. These teams last met on Dec 26 and it was the Warriors who won by 126-116 and I am expecting a similar result in this one as the Warriors should be able grab the win and cover at the short line in this spot.
