The Cleveland Cavaliers play host to the Detroit Pistons at the Rocket Arena on Tuesday night. Here’s a Detroit Pistons vs. Cleveland Cavaliers prediction. This article will include a Detroit Pistons vs. Cleveland Cavaliers pick.

Detroit Pistons Betting Preview

The Detroit Pistons have been in great form as they’ve won 11 of their last 13 games overall and they will be aiming for a fourth straight victory after routing the Magic in a 106-92 road win on Sunday. Cade Cunningham led the team with 29 points and 11 assists; Tobias Harris added 23 points with seven rebounds and two steals on 10 of 18 shooting, while Jalen Duren chipped in with 16 points and 10 rebounds.

As a team, the Pistons shot 45 percent from the field and just four of 30 from the 3-point line as they struggled to get going on offense and trailed for most of the first half, but this win was all about their defense as they restricted the Magic to just 35 points in the entire second half to secure a relatively easy win in the end.

Cleveland Cavaliers Betting Preview

Meanwhile, the Cleveland Cavaliers have been on a tear as they’ve won 16 of their last 21 games overall and they will be looking to stay hot after outlasting the Nets in a 106-102 road win over the Nets on Sunday. James Harden led the team with 22 points, nine rebounds, and eight assists; Jarrett Allen added 20 points, while Evan Mobley tallied 17 points with 13 rebounds.

As a team, the Cavaliers shot 49 percent from the field and 13 of 27 from the 3-point line as they struggled early on and scored just 17 points in the second quarter to trail for most of the game until early in the fourth quarter, where they used a 22-12 run to start to pull ahead.

Detroit Pistons vs Cleveland Cavaliers Prediction

The Pistons expect to have a full squad for this matchup, with Isaiah Stewart returning to the lineup after serving his seven-game suspension, while the Cavaliers have ruled out Max Strus and Donovan Mitchell, with Dean Wade listed as questionable. These two teams last met on Friday and it was the Pistons who rallied late in the game to win by 122-119 in overtime so the Cavaliers will be out for revenge in this one.

It’s hard to split these two teams because the Cavaliers really should have won on Friday despite missing their starting backcourt and they will surely be better with Harden now back in the lineup, but I am still leaning towards the red-hot Pistons to take care of business in this one.

Peter Tran's Pick: Detroit -1
