However, it was a real game of two halves as the Nuggets couldn’t get anything going the rest of the game and they didn’t put up much of a fight once they squandered the lead. Alex Sarr led the team with 28 points on 10 of 19 shooting, Kyshawn George added 18 points with six assists while Bub Carrington chipped in with 17 points, six rebounds and seven assists. As a team, the Wizards shot 43 percent from the field and 13 of 35 from the 3-point line as they took the fight to the Clippers and had the scores locked up going into the final minute of the game before they went scoreless in the final 57 seconds to allow the Clippers off the hook in the end.

The Nuggets have ruled out Nikola Jokic, Cameron Johnson and Christian Braun with Jonas Valanciunas listed as questionable for this one, while the Wizards have ruled out Trae Young with Khris Middleton, Marvin Bagley III and Bilal Coulibaly all listed as questionable. The Nuggets were playing some great basketball before they lost a tough one to the Lakers in their last outing, but they will like their chances against an ice-cold Wizards team who have lost seven in a row. The Nuggets will be disappointed with their last game, but the line should be higher for this matchup, so I will back the Nuggets to get the win and cover on the road at this modest line.
