The Line: Betting Odds: LA Clippers -1 — Over/Under:
The Denver Nuggets and LA Clippers meet Friday in summer league NBA action at the Pavilion. Here’s a Denver Nuggets vs LA Clippers Prediction. This article will include a Denver Nuggets vs LA Clippers Pick.
Denver Nuggets Betting Preview
The Denver Nuggets will be led by assistant coach Andrew Munson. The highlights of this Nuggets summer league roster include Julian Strawther, Jalen Pickett, Hunter Tyson and DaRon Holmes II, as those are four players with guaranteed NBA contracts. Strawther is somebody who should dominate summer league, considering he played in 50 games last year and averaged nearly 11 minutes. Another player to keep an eye on is Parker Braun, the brother of Christian Braun, who played at Missouri, Santa Clara and Kansas.
LA Clippers Betting Preview
The LA Clippers will be led by assistant coach and NBA champion Dahntay Jones. The Clippers roster is highlighted by Kobe Brown, Jordan Miller and Moussa Diabate. That trio has played in a combined 85 games, with Diabate getting minutes in each of the last two seasons for the Clippers. Other names to watch include RayJ Dennis, who was dominant at Toledo and Baylor. Elijah Harkless was a scorer in college and had a solid season in the G League. Terry Taylor is 24 years old and has played in 95 NBA games, which includes 9 starts with the Pacers a couple of years ago. The Clippers have a bit of everything on their simmer league roster.
Denver Nuggets vs LA Clippers Prediction
The LA Clippers are an intriguing roster because they have a bit of everything, and it could come together well. However, as I mentioned in previous articles, the Denver Nuggets are probably the more talented team and in summer league I just want upside and talent. These guys just got together, so chemistry could be off. A lot of times talent takes over in spots like this. The Denver Nuggets have the upside, and somebody like Strawther could absolutely leave their fingerprints all over a game like this. In a near pick em spot, I want the Nuggets and the free point.
