Cleveland Cavaliers Betting Preview

The Cleveland Cavaliers have been in pretty good form lately as they’ve won six of their last nine games overall and they will be eager to stay hot after blowing past the 76ers in a 133-107 road win on Wednesday. Donovan Mitchell led the team with 35 points, seven rebounds and nine assists, Darius Garland added 20 points with seven assists on eight of 13 shooting while Evan Mobley tallied 17 points with 13 rebounds and six assists. As a team, the Cavaliers shot 53 percent from the field and 20 of 46 from the 3-point line as they stormed out of the gates and dominated the first quarter by 33-18 to take a 13-point lead into halftime, before they really broke loose with 73 points in the second half to make it a complete blowout on the road.

Philadelphia 76ers Betting Preview

Meanwhile, the Philadelphia 76ers have been in great shape as they’ve won six of their last nine games overall, but they will be hoping to bounce back here after getting beaten by the Cavaliers in a 133-107 loss on Wednesday. Joel Embiid led the team with 20 points on seven of 14 shooting, Paul George added 17 points on seven of 14 shooting while Tyrese Maxey chipped in with 14 points. As a team, the 76ers shot 40 percent from the field and 12 of 43 from the 3-point line as they got off to a nightmare start and scored just 18 points in the first quarter to fall behind by double digits right off the bat, but that was only the beginning of their nightmare as they leaked 73 points in the second half to get blown out in their own building.

Cleveland v Philadelphia Free Prediction

The Cavaliers are still missing Max Strus, Darius Garland, Sam Merrill and Dean Wade, while the 76ers are keeping an eye on Dominick Barlow who is questionable for this one. Both teams are coming into this contest in similar form, but it was the Cavaliers who won rather easily on Wednesday thanks to a big game from Mitchell. The Cavaliers are still dealing with a bunch of injuries but it’s the loss of Garland that hurts them the most in this matchup as Garland was instrumental in Wednesday’s win. It’s always tough to beat the same team twice in a row in their own building, so I will back the 76ers to get their revenge in this spot.

Peter Tran's Pick: Philadelphia -1.5
