Cleveland Cavaliers Betting Preview
The Cleveland Cavaliers have been in decent form as they’ve won five of their last eight games overall, but they will be hoping to bounce back here after getting beaten by the Jazz in a 123-112 loss on Monday. Darius Garland led the team with 23 points and eight assists, Donovan Mitchell added 21 points while Evan Mobley added 15 points, nine rebounds and eight assists. As a team, the Cavaliers shot 45 percent from the field and 17 of 41 from the 3-point line as they exploded for 40 points in the second quarter to take the lead into halftime after trailing by as many as 17 points early on, but they couldn’t maintain that pace in the second half where the Jazz outscored them by 69-50. The Cavaliers were outrebounded by 50-30 and they couldn’t defend without fouling, getting outscored at the free throw line by 25-13.
Philadelphia 76ers Betting Preview
Meanwhile, the Philadelphia 76ers have been in great form as they’ve won six of their last eight games overall and they will be eager to keep it going after blowing past the Raptors in a 115-102 road win on Monday. Tyrese Maxey led the team with 33 points on 10 of 16 shooting, Joel Embiid added 27 points, eight rebounds and four assists while Paul George and VJ Edgecombe each scored 15 points. As a team, the 76ers shot 53 percent from the field and 16 of 36 from the 3-point line as they stormed out of the gates with 45 points in the first quarter to take an early 33-point lead, before they took their foot off the gas and allowed the Raptors to cut into the lead in garbage time.
Cleveland v Philadelphia Free Prediction
The Cavaliers are still missing Max Strus and Dean Wade, while the 76ers don’t have a single player listed on the injury report. The Cavaliers haven’t been at their best lately, but they were on a nice run before they got stopped by the lowly Jazz in their last outing and they are as healthy as they’ve been all season. You could say the same about the 76ers who are starting to heat up and they’re only going to get better if Embiid and George can stay on the court. This is a tough one to pick, but the 76ers have been one of the form teams in the league lately and I think they can get the job done at home in this spot.
