The Chicago Bulls invade the Wells Fargo Center to battle the slumping Philadelphia 76ers on Sunday night. Here’s a Chicago Bulls vs Philadelphia 76ers Prediction. This article will include a Chicago Bulls vs Philadelphia 76ers Pick.

Chicago Bulls Betting Preview

The Chicago Bulls have been on fire as they’ve reeled off nine wins from their last 12 games overall and they will be aiming for a third straight victory after running past the lowly Wizards in a 119-89 home win on Friday. Julian Phillips led the team with 23 points and nine rebounds, Matas Buzelis added 20 points with six rebounds and four assists, Coby White added 16 points with nine rebounds while Nikola Vucevic chipped in with 15 points, 12 rebounds and eight assists. As a team, the Bulls shot 46 percent from the field and 13 of 41 from the 3-point line as they jumped all over the Wizards from the start and took a 15-point lead into halftime. They just kept their foot on the gas to make it a massive blowout win in front of their home crowd.

Philadelphia 76ers Betting Preview

Meanwhile, the Philadelphia 76ers have been ice-cold for a while now as they’ve lost 13 of their last 14 games overall and they will be hoping to bounce back here after getting routed by the Hawks in a 124-110 home defeat on Friday. Jared Butler led the team with 25 points and seven assists, Marcus Bagley added 20 points with 10 rebounds and five assists while Adem Bona chipped in with 18 points, six rebounds and three blocks. As a team, the 76ers shot 44 percent from the field and 12 of 35 from the 3-point line as they jumped all over the Hawks early and poured in 40 points in the second quarter to take the lead into halftime. Only to get completely blown out by 64-44 in the second half. Ricky Council had a rough game as he shot just three of 13 from the field and one of eight from the 3-point line, while Jeff Dowtin Jr scored just two points on one of 11 shooting off the bench.

Why the Philadelphia 76ers will win

  • The 76ers have won each of their last eight day games against teams that held a losing record.
  • The Bulls have lost each of their last four day games against Atlantic Division opponents.
  • The 76ers have covered the spread in each of their last five day games against teams that held a losing record.
  • The Bulls have failed to cover the spread in four of their last five games as favorites against Atlantic Division opponents following a win.

Why the Chicago Bulls will win

  • The 76ers have lost 22 of their last 23 games against Eastern Conference opponents.
  • The favorites have won each of the 76ers’ last eight games.
  • The 76ers have failed to cover the spread in each of their last 14 games at Wells Fargo Center against teams that held a losing record.

Matchup/League Facts

  • The 76ers rank 30th in the league for rebound percentage this season (46.7%).
  • The Bulls rank 2nd in the league for opponent three-point percentage this season (34.5%).
  • The Bulls rank 29th in the league for free throw attempts per game this season (19.7).

Chicago Bulls vs Philadelphia 76ers Prediction

The Bulls are going to be missing some players with Josh Giddey, Lonzo Ball and Tre Jones all out again, while the 76ers are still playing without Joel Embiid, Paul George, Tyrese Maxey and Kyle Lowry to name a few. The Bulls don’t have all their players, but they are still relatively healthy compared to the 76ers, who have been playing nothing but reserves for weeks now. The Bulls are coming into this one with plenty of momentum, and they should have no trouble running past this sorry 76ers team desperate for the end of the season. So, I will happily take the Bulls to get the win and cover on the road after what we saw from them on Friday.

Peter Tran's Pick: Chicago -9.5
