The Charlotte Hornets vs New York Knicks meet Saturday in summer league NBA action at the Thomas & Mack Center. Here’s a Charlotte Hornets vs New York Knicks Prediction. This article will include a Charlotte Hornets vs New York Knicks Pick.

Charlotte Hornets Betting Preview

The Charlotte Hornets have played well to start the tournament winning each of the first three games. On Sunday the Hornets faced off against China and they were able to secure the 93-62 victory. At the end of the first quarter they were up 26-9 and they never looked back as they cruised to the victory. Former Nebraska Cornhuskers standout Bryce McGowens had a strong game putting up 20 points. He did a good job of drawing fouls and he hit 12 shots from the free throw line. Jake Stephens also had quite the game putting up 14 points and he finished +13 on the game.

New York Knicks Betting Preview

The New York Knicks will be playing their first game of the summer league in this game, but this looks like it should be an exciting roster. Pacome Dadiet was taken in the first round by the Knicks and this will be the first chance to see him. The Knicks also selected three players in the second round, Tyler Kolek, Ariel Hukporti, and Kevin McCullar. McCullar is 23 years old, and a good scorer, but his defense is what could be the difference in him making the roster. Jacob Toppin was a two way player last year for the Knicks and he’s back. In this game the Knicks are going to need the defense to be strong.

Charlotte Hornets vs New York Knicks Prediction

The Hornets offense has been good so far in the tournament, but this Knicks team has a lot of experience. Toppin is a very good player, and he could be a mismatch in this game. I also expect Kolek, McCullar, and Dadiet are all going to have good games. The Knicks offense will have no issue running up the score, and that will be enough for them to get the job done. Back the Knicks against the spread.
