I don’t want to back the Jazz as much as the next guy. The Jazz aren’t trying to win and after beating the Wizards on Wednesday, their injury report gets longer. Even without Jaylen Brown, the Celtics should take the Jazz behind the woodshed. However, the Celtics have had issues with these inflated lines all year which has led to a 30-38-1 ATS record, and they’ve failed to cover 10 of their last 13 games as a double-digit favorite. The Celtics don’t cover big numbers. Also, the Jazz and Celtics met a couple of weeks ago in Boston, and Utah lost by just six points as a 16-point underdog. There are better options out there on this Friday’s NBA card, but I’ll grab the points with the Jazz if forced to pick.
