The Oklahoma City Thunder will be aiming for the series sweep over the Memphis Grizzlies in Game 4 at the FedExForum on Saturday night. Here’s a Oklahoma City Thunder vs Memphis Grizzlies Prediction. This article will include a Oklahoma City Thunder vs Memphis Grizzlies Pick.

Oklahoma City Thunder Betting Preview

The Oklahoma City Thunder will be looking to complete the series sweep and move onto the next round after taking down the Grizzlies in a thrilling 114-108 road win in Game 3 on Thursday. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the team with 31 points and eight assists, Jalen Williams added 26 points with six rebounds and five assists on nine of 16 shooting while Chet Holmgren chipped in with 24 points on eight of 16 shooting. As a team, the Thunder shot 45 percent from the field and 13 of 38 from the 3-point line as they got off to a sloppy start and leaked 77 points in the first half to trail by as many as 29 points. Before they flipped a switch and dominated the second half by 64-31 to run down the Grizzlies with time to spare in the end.

Memphis Grizzlies Betting Preview

Meanwhile, the Memphis Grizzlies must be feeling so defeated after what transpired in Game 3 on Thursday. Scotty Pippen Jr led the team in scoring with 28 points, five rebounds, and five assists. Jaren Jackson Jr added 22 points with seven rebounds, while Ja Morant chipped in with 15 points and five assists in 16 minutes of action before he left the game following a nasty fall. As a team, the Grizzlies shot 43 percent from the field and 14 of 42 from the 3-point line as they jumped all over the Thunder in the first half and looked like they were headed for a blowout victory, before Morant went down. Still, the Grizzlies should've been good enough to eke out a narrow win at home, but they struggled against the defense of the Thunder and managed just 13 points in the fourth quarter to suffer the heartbreaking defeat.

Why the Memphis Grizzlies will win

  • The home team has won seven of the Grizzlies' last eight playoff games.
  • The home team has covered the spread in 10 of the Grizzlies' last 11 playoff games.
  • The Thunder have failed to cover the spread in six of their last seven playoff games at FedExForum.

Why the Oklahoma City Thunder will win

  • The Grizzlies have lost each of their last 10 games against Thunder teams that held a winning record.
  • The Thunder have won each of their last 12 games following a road win.
  • The Thunder have covered the spread in each of their last nine games as favorites following a road win.
  • The Grizzlies have failed to cover the spread in 11 of their last 12 games at FedExForum against teams that held a winning record.

Oklahoma City Thunder vs Memphis Grizzlies Prediction

The Thunder are still missing Ousmane Dieng, while the Grizzlies are keeping an eye on Luke Kennard, and they have listed Ja Morant as doubtful for this game. The Grizzlies did all they could to take a stand in this series, but they weren't able to hang onto a 29-point lead and their star guard Morant to injury also. The Thunder had a nightmare start to Game 3, and they were still able to get the job done, so it's hard to imagine this series lasting much longer. The Thunder should be able to win this one comfortably, but I think the Grizzlies can hang on just enough to get the backdoor cover at home once the Thunder rest their starters.
