The Oklahoma City Thunder and Memphis Grizzlies are set to face off in Game 2 of their first-round playoff series on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at Paycom Center in Oklahoma City. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET. The Thunder currently lead the series 1–0 after a dominant 131–80 victory in Game 1.
In Game 1, Oklahoma City showcased its offensive prowess, shooting 50.5% from the field and 35.4% from three-point range. Aaron Wiggins led the team with 21 points, while Jalen Williams contributed 20 points, five rebounds, and six assists. Chet Holmgren added a double-double with 19 points and 10 rebounds. The Grizzlies struggled offensively in the opener, with Ja Morant scoring 17 points and Desmond Bane adding nine. Memphis will need to improve its shooting efficiency and defensive intensity to bounce back in Game 2.

Isaiah Hartenstein Over 9.5 Points
Isaiah Hartenstein is averaging 11.2 points per game, with a field goal percentage of 58.1%. In addition to his scoring, Hartenstein contributes 10.7 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game, while playing an average of 27.9 minutes per contest. Hartenstein's efficient scoring and strong presence in the paint have been instrumental in the Thunder's success this season. His ability to finish around the rim and contribute to the team's rebounding efforts underscores his value to Oklahoma City's overall performance. He looked great in the first game of this series, putting up 14 points. I was surprised to see his line under double-digit points, and I’m looking to capitalize on that.
Zach Edey Over 10.5 Rebounds
Over 66 games, Edey averaged 8.3 rebounds per game, ranking 17th in the league. His rebounding was well-balanced, with 4.8 defensive rebounds and 3.5 offensive rebounds per game. Despite averaging just 21.5 minutes per game, Edey's rebounding rate of 18.6 per 48 minutes underscores his efficiency and tenacity on the glass. Edey was Memphis’s leading rebounder in Game 1 of this series. He’s collected 10+ rebounds in 7 of his last 9 games. OKC is giving up 53.9 rebounds per game to opposing teams which is the 5th most in the whole league. Edey should have another solid night on the glass.
Jalen Williams Over 21.5 Points
Jalen Williams is averaging 21.6 points per game, ranking 25th in the league. Williams is shooting 48.4% from the field and 36.5% from three-point range. He also contributes 5.3 rebounds and 5.1 assists per game, while playing an average of 32.4 minutes per contest. Jalen Williams just scored 20 points in game 1 of this series, but he would’ve had way more if the Thunder weren’t up so big. The Thunder didn’t play a single starter in the 4th quarter in game 1. I do expect Memphis to at least be a little more competitive in this game, which will give Williams more minutes to soar over his point total.
