Jalen Brunson led the team with 27 points on nine of 17 shooting, Mikal Bridges added 17 points with eight assists while OG Anunoby and Landry Shamet scored 15 points each. As a team, the Knicks shot just 40 percent from the field and 16 of 41 from the 3-point line as they jumped all over the Cavaliers from the tipoff and poured in 39 points in the first quarter to take a 23-point lead. However, they allowed the Cavaliers to hang around, and it cost them in the fourth quarter where the Knicks scored just 16 points to suffer one of their worst defeats of the season.

Meanwhile, the Brooklyn Nets have been in a real slump as they've lost 10 of their last 13 games. They will be hoping to avoid a third straight defeat after getting thrashed by the Timberwolves in an ugly 117-91 road defeat on Friday. Keon Johnson led the team with 20 points and six assists, Trendon Watford added 15 points with eight rebounds and four assists while Drew Timme chipped in with 11 points and 10 rebounds. As a team, the Nets shot just 36 percent from the field and 12 of 41 from the 3-point line as they got off to a slow start and scored just 16 points in the first quarter to fall behind by double digits. The deficit only grew in the second half where they managed just 39 points to get completely blown out on the road.

The Knicks could be severely shorthanded for this one, so this pick might change by the time tipoff comes around. I can see the Knicks winning comfortable if they decide to play a couple starters, but this could be much closer if the Knicks pull the plug on the regular season. At this stage, I will lean towards the Knicks to get the win on the road.
