The Boston Celtics (56-20) will host the Phoenix Suns (35-41) on Friday, April 4, 2025, at TD Garden, with tip-off set for 7:30 p.m. ET. The Celtics, second in the Eastern Conference, are looking to bounce back after their nine-game winning streak was snapped by the Miami Heat. Meanwhile, the Suns, currently 11th in the Western Conference, are fighting to keep their Play-In hopes alive as they try to end a four-game losing skid. This will be the second and final meeting between the teams this season, with Boston having cruised to a 132-102 win in Phoenix on March 26.
In terms of injuries, the Suns are without Kevin Durant due to a left ankle sprain, but they expect Bradley Beal to return after missing eight games with a hamstring issue. The Celtics, on the other hand, have a few uncertainties: Jaylen Brown is questionable with a knee issue, Kristaps Porzingis and Jrue Holiday are working their way back after missing time due to illness and a shoulder injury, respectively, and Al Horford is nursing a toe injury.

Devin Booker Over 27.5 Points
Phoenix Suns shooting guard Devin Booker is delivering an impressive performance in the 2024-25 NBA season. Over 70 games, he has averaged 25.5 points, 7.1 assists, and 4.1 rebounds per game, with a field goal percentage of 45.6%. Booker's scoring average places him ninth in the league, highlighting his role as a primary offensive force for the Suns. His three-point shooting percentage stands at 33.8%, and he maintains a free-throw percentage of 89.5%. With Durrant out for the Suns, Booker will have to have a big game for them to stay in this one. He’s coming off a monstrous 39-point game against the Milwaukee Bucks. With the Suns' playoff hopes diminishing, expect Booker to be extra aggressive in this game.
Jayson Tatum Under 27.5 Points
Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum is averaging 27.0 points, 8.7 rebounds, and 5.9 assists per game, with a field goal percentage of 45.2%. His scoring average places him fifth in the league, underscoring his role as a primary offensive force for the Celtics. With that being said, Tatum hasn’t been going over his point total as of late. We’ve seen him score less than 27 points in 5 of his last 7 games. With the Celtics already clinching that 2nd seed, I expect guys like Tatum to take their foot off the gas a bit in matchups like these.
Jaylen Brown Over 19.5 Points
Brown is averaging 22.4 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 4.6 assists per game, with a field goal percentage of 46.2%. His three-point shooting percentage stands at 31.9%, and he maintains a free-throw percentage of 75.9%. Brown is coming off a solid game against the Heat, where he put up 24 points. It seems like Tatum is garnering a lot of attention from defenses, which has opened up scoring opportunities for Brown and other guys on this team. In my opinion, this line is just a little low, and Brown is fully capable of having a 20-point game.
