The San Antonio Spurs and Atlanta Hawks meet Sunday in summer league NBA action at the Thomas & Mack Center. Here’s a San Antonio Spurs vs Atlanta Hawks Prediction. This article will include a San Antonio Spurs vs Atlanta Hawks Pick.
Atlanta Hawks Betting Preview
At the end of the first quarter of the first game against the Washington Wizards the Hawks were up 23-14 and they looked to be in good shape. The last three quarters though the defense really struggled and that led to them losing. It was mostly a balanced attack for Washington with all five starters scoring at least seven points. Zaccharie Risacher was selected with the first overall pick, and his Summer League was a strong start as he finished with 18 points and five rebounds. Keaton Wallace also had a strong game off the bench, finishing with 10 points, six assists, and four rebounds.
San Antonio Spurs Betting Preview
The Spurs sure impressed on Saturday in their summer league game. The Spurs defense was actually pretty good against the Portland Trail Blazers giving up only 77 points and they ended up winning by six points. Center Nathan Mensah was the top player for the Spurs putting up 19 points and 10 rebounds. Guard Stephon Castle was also impressive putting up 22 points and he hit 2 of his 6 shots from deep. There were three different players that scored at least 11 and seven players that put up at least seven players. In this game it’s going to nee to be the offense that steps up and really steps up.
San Antonio Spurs vs Atlanta Hawks Prediction
The Spurs defense was sure impressive in the first game and it’s going to be no different in this game. The Hawks defense in the first game was awful and their defense is going to really struggle here. I do expect it to continue to be a balanced offensive attack from the Spurs and that is going to be enough here. The Hawks aren’t going to score enough to keep it close. Back the Spurs against the spread.
