The Minnesota Timberwolves are allowing 36.1 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 42.5 rebounds per game.
Dallas Mavericks vs Minnesota Timberwolves Injury Report
The Timberwolves will continue to be without Jaylen Clark, who hasn’t played since November due to an Achilles injury. Mike Conley is questionable with an Achilles injury, but he’s been pushing through it, so I don’t expect him to sit. The Dallas Mavericks will be without Olivier-Maxence Prosper, Maxi Kleber and Greg Brown III. Dereck Lively II is questionable with a neck injury he suffered in game 3. Luka Doncic is questionable with an ankle injury, but we obviously don’t expect him to sit, given his issues aren’t new.
Why the Minnesota Timberwolves will win
- The Timberwolves have won each of their last 10 Thursday night games.
- The Mavericks have lost each of their last four night games at Target Center following a home loss.
- The Mavericks have failed to cover the spread in four of their last five night games at Target Center following a home loss.

Dallas Mavericks vs Minnesota Timberwolves Prediction
I still believe the Dallas Mavericks are the better team and will close this out eventually. However, the Minnesota Timberwolves are due for a home victory, and now they have a pep in their step from game 4. Karl-Anthony Towns is coming off his best game of the series, and Luka Doncic was back to his limping ways. I wouldn't talk you off the ledge if you're looking at the Mavs and the free buckets, but it would be strange to see the Timberwolves lose 5 of their last 6 home games. I kind of expect the Timberwolves to win this game and make things interesting in this series as we see a game 6 this weekend.
