Dallas Mavericks vs Minnesota Timberwolves Prediction
The Minnesota Timberwolves should get the benefit of the doubt at home, and they're the deeper team entering this series. As the case for every series with the Mavericks, it's going to come down to which version of Luka and Kyrie we're going to get. That's why I lean toward the Mavs and the free points. Luka looked closer to himself in game 5 and 6 against OKC, and now he's had 4 days of rest. This should be the best version we've seen from Luka in weeks now that he's had extended rest for his knee. The Minnesota Timberwolves are also a young team that's not used to playoff success, and they're fresh off an emotional game 7 win over the defending champs. Maybe a letdown factor for the Wolves? This feels like an ideal spot for the Mavericks to strike first and steal home court. I'll take a stab with the Mavericks and the free buckets.
