The New York Knicks will be hoping to bounce back and take a commanding 3-1 series lead after coming up short to the 76ers in a disappointing 125-114 road loss on Thursday. Jalen Brunson led the team with 39 points and 13 assists on 13 of 27 shooting, Josh Hart added 20 points with six assists while OG Anunoby chipped in with 17 points on seven of 11 shooting. As a team, the Knicks shot 48 percent from the field and 13 of 30 from the 3-point line as they started strong and worked hard to take a narrow lead at halftime, only to get blown out by 43-27 in the third quarter where they trailed by as many as 15 points. Donte DiVincenzo finished with just five points on two of seven shooting an the Knicks got nothing from their bench players.
Philadelphia 76ers
Meanwhile, the Philadelphia 76ers will be feeling like they are right back in the contest after earning their first win of the series on Thursday. Joel Embiid led the team with 50 points, eight rebounds and four assists on 13 of 19 shooting, Tyrese Maxey added 25 points with seven assists while Kelly Oubre Jr chipped in with 15 points on six of eight shooting. As a team, the 76ers shot 54 percent from the field and 15 of 31 from the 3-point line as they did their best to stay within striking distance in the first half, before they exploded for 43 points in the third quarter thanks to Embiid who barely missed all night despite an apparent eye injury.

This is definitely one of those games where you want to check the lineups before tipoff, but assuming that Embiid plays, I am going with the 76ers, who looked like a different team now that they're back playing at home. Maybe my pick changes if Embiid sits out, but as it stands, I'm leaning towards the 76ers to get the job done in this spot.
