Meanwhile, the Boston Celtics were enjoying a five-game win streak before they got stopped in their tracks by the Bucks in a 104-91 road defeat on Tuesday. Jayson Tatum led the team with 22 points and six assists, Jaylen Brown added 14 points with 10 rebounds and four steals while Jrue Holiday chipped in with 12 points, seven rebounds and five assists but no other player finished in double figures in scoring. As a team, the Celtics shot just 39 percent from the field and 17 of 52 from the 3-point line as they struggled to get out of second gear and never looked competitive after falling behind by 63-43 going into halftime. Derrick White scored just nine points on three of 10 shooting while Payton Pritchard scored just six points on two of nine shooting.
