The Detroit Pistons and Philadelphia 76ers meet Tuesday in NBA action at the Wells Fargo Center. We will look at this from a betting perspective and determine the best bets for this game. Here’s a Pistons vs 76ers prediction.
Detroit Pistons
The Detroit Pistons have been in terrible shape as they've lost 12 of their last 13 games overall and they are hoping to avoid a fifth straight defeat after getting beaten by the Nets in a 113-103 road defeat on Saturday. Chimezie Metu led the team with 20 points on nine of nine shooting, Marcus Sasser added 18 points with six assists while Jaden Ivey tallied 16 points with 10 assists while Troy Brown Jr chipped in with 15 points. As a team, the Pistons shot 45 percent from the field and 17 of 39 from the 3-point line as they stormed out of the gates with 35 points in the first quarter to take an early 19-point lead which kept them seemingly in control until they got smashed by 38-20 in the fourth quarter to allow the Nets off the hook in the end. The Pistons will meet the Bulls after this one.
Philadelphia 76ers
Meanwhile, the Philadelphia 76ers have sprung to life recently as they are now looking to build on their current five-game win streak after outlasting the Spurs in a 133-126 double overtime road win on Sunday. Tyrese Maxey led the team with 52 points and seven assists on 19 of 41 shooting, Kelly Oubre Jr added 26 points with eight rebounds and five assists while Paul Reed chipped in with 11 points, 10 rebounds and five assists. As a team, the 76ers shot 45 percent from the field and 12 of 39 from the 3-point line as they allowed the Spurs to get hot early and found themselves trailing by 13 points, but they rallied in the fourth quarter and finally pulled away in the second overtime period to earn the gritty win and keep their streak alive.

- The Pistons rank 30th in the league for steals per game this season (6.5).

Pistons vs 76ers prediction
The Pistons are still missing Simone Fontecchio and they have Cade Cunningham listed as questionable, while the 76ers are keeping eyes on Kyle Lowry, Tobias Harris, Joel Embiid and Tyerse Maxey who are all questionable. Be sure to check the lineups before tipoff, but assuming that the 76ers don't rest all their players, I'm backing the 76ers to keep their strong run going with another win and cover at home.
