The Miami Heat and Indiana Pacers meet Sunday in NBA action at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse. We will look at this from a betting perspective and determine the best bets for this game. Here’s a Heat vs Pacers prediction.
Miami Heat
The Miami Heat have been in great shape as they've won eight of their last 12 games overall and they will be eager to keep it going after routing the Rockets in a 119-104 road win on Friday. Jimmy Butler led the team with 22 points on six of 14 shooting, Bam Adebayo added 18 points with 12 rebounds and six assists while Tyler Herro chipped in with 17 points and six assists off the bench. As a team, the Heat shot 49 percent from the field and 13 of 36 from the 3-point line as they took control of the contest with a 37-point explosion in the second quarter to take the early lead, before they played solid defense in the second half to pull away and win comfortably on the road.
Indiana Pacers
Meanwhile, the Indiana Pacers have been in fine form as they've won six of their last nine games overall and they will be looking to stay hot after taking down the Thunder in a 126-112 home win on Friday. Pascal Siakam led the team with 21 points on eight of 10 shooting, Aaron Nesmith added 17 points while Myles Turner and TJ McConnell each scored 16 points. As a team, the Pacers shot 52 percent from the field and 15 of 35 from the 3-point line as they caught fire early and exploded for 38 points in the second quarter to take a 10-point lead into halftime, before they pulled away in the second half where they led by as many as 18 points at one stage.

Heat vs Pacers prediction
The Heat are still missing Josh Richardson, while the Pacers are keeping eyes on Jalen Smith and Tyrese Haliburton who are both listed as questionable at the moment. The Heat are coming into this meeting with plenty of winning momentum, and they looked great in their big win over the Rockets on Friday. The Pacers could be severely shorthanded for this one if Haliburton isn't able to suit up. This is certainly a game where you want to check the lineups before tipoff, but as it stands, I am more comfortable going with the healthier Heat squad, who represent decent value as the underdogs here.
