The Oklahoma City Thunder and Indiana Pacers meet Friday in NBA action at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse. We will look at this from a betting perspective and determine the best bets for this game. Here’s a Thunder vs Pacers prediction.
Oklahoma City Thunder
The Oklahoma City Thunder have been in great shape as they've won 10 of their last 15 games overall, but they will be hoping to snap a two-game skid after getting run over by the Celtics in a 135-100 road loss on Wednesday. Josh Giddey led the team with 17 points on seven of 11 shooting, Luguentz Dort added 15 points on three of 10 shooting while Cason Wallace chipped in with 12 points, five assists and four steals. As a team, the Thunder shot 43 percent from the field and just five of 24 from the 3-point line as they exploded for 36 points in the third quarter to start to claw their way back from a 14-point halftime deficit, only to get blown out by 42-17 in the fourth quarter to lose big in the end.
Indiana Pacers
Meanwhile, the Indiana Pacers have been in decent shape as they've won five of their last eight games overall, but they will be looking to bounce back in this one after coming up painfully short to the Nets in a 115-111 road loss on Wednesday. Pascal Siakam led the team with 26 points, nine rebounds and three assists, Tyrese Haliburton added 24 points with eight assists while Obi Toppin chipped in with 14 points, eight rebounds and three blocks off the bench. As a team, the Pacers shot 44 percent from the field and 10 of 38 from the 3-point line as they stormed out of the gates to an early 14-point lead, only to leaked 42 points in the second quarter to watch their lead disappear. Still, the Pacers had plenty of chances to make up for it in the second half, only to allow the Nets to close the final 1:23 on a 10-3 run to snatch the game away from the Pacers at the end. The Pacers will meet the Heat after this one.

Thunder vs Pacers prediction
The Thunder are still missing a couple of players with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Jalen Williams, while the Pacers are keeping an eye on Myles Turner, who is questionable for this one. The Thunder were on a great run before they got stopped in their tracks by the surging Celtics, while the Pacers were building some momentum before they lost to the lowly Nets in their last outing. I can see why the Pacers would be favorites at home, but I think the shorthanded Thunder are the team in better form at the moment, and I think they represent decent value as the underdogs in this spot.
