New York Knicks
The New York Knicks have been in great shape as they've won seven of their last 10 games overall, but they will be hoping to avoid a third straight defeat after falling painfully short to the Thunder in a 113-112 loss on Sunday. Jalen Brunson led the team with 30 points and seven assists, Miles McBridge added 19 points, Isaiah Hartenstein scored 17 points with 12 rebounds and five assists while Josh Hart tallied 13 points with 15 rebounds and six assists. As a team, the Knicks shot 41 percent from the field and 13 of 43 from the 3-point line as they exploded for 39 points in the third quarter to take a 12-point lead, only to suffer the heartbreaking loss with the Thunder's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander draining the game winner with just 2.1 seconds left on the clock.
Miami Heat
Meanwhile, the Miami Heat have been in great shape as they've won six of their last nine games overall and they will be aiming for a third straight win after routing the Wizards in a 119-107 road win on Sunday. Terry Rozier led the team with 27 points on 11 of 19 shooting, Bam Adebayo added 22 points with 10 rebounds and five assists while Jimmy Butler chipped in with 17 points, seven rebounds and four assists. As a team, the Heat shot 49 percent from the field and 14 of 36 from the 3-point line as they took control of the contest with a 37-point burst in the second quarter, before they played great defense in the third quarter to push the lead out to 18 points. Duncan Robinson had a rough game as he finished with just six points on two of seven shooting while no bench player scored more than 10 points.

Knicks vs Heat prediction
The Knicks are still missing OG Anunoby and Julius Randle, but they have Mitchell Robinson improved to a questionable status, while the Heat are still missing Tyler Herro and Josh Richardson. The Knicks come into this one as the team in better form, and they could have Robinson back in the lineup. The Heat are deserved favorites at home and I think they can get it done at the short line. This should be a close one, but I have the Heat pulling away late thanks to heroics from Adebayo and Butler.
