The Miami Heat and Washington Wizards meet Sunday in NBA action at the Capital One Arena. We will look at this from a betting perspective and determine the best bets for this game. Here’s a Heat vs Wizards prediction.
Miami Heat
The Miami Heat have been in great shape as they've won five of their last eight games overall and they will be eager to keep it going after blowing past the Trail Blazers in a 142-82 home win on Friday. Thomas Bryant led the team with 26 points, 12 rebounds and two blocks, Terry Rozier added 22 points with six assists, Haywood Highsmith scored 20 points, while Bam Adebayo tallied 21 points with 12 rebounds and nine assists. As a team, the Heat shot 58 percent from the field and 21 of 39 from the 3-point line as they caught fire early and never looked in danger after dominating the first half by 74-40. The Heat will play against the Knicks after this game.
Washington Wizards
Meanwhile, the Washington Wizards have been in a real funk as they've lost seven of their last 10 games overall and they will be hoping to bounce back after losing to the lowly Pistons in a 96-87 loss on Friday. Corey Kispert led the team in scoring with 23 points on nine of 12 shooting, Deni Avdija added 18 points with 11 rebounds and nine assists while Marvin Bagley chipped in with 15 points, 11 rebounds and two blocks. As a team, the Wizards shot just 40 percent from the field and nine of 33 from the 3-point line, but they were always fighting an uphill battle after getting outscored by 59-40 in the first half. Kyle Kuzma had a night to forget as he shot just five of 22 from the field and zero of six from the 3-point line while Jordan Poole shot just three of 15 from the field and one of eight from the 3-point line. The Wizards will meet the Bucks and Lakers after this one.

Heat vs Wizards prediction
The Heat are still a little shorthanded with Tyler Herro and Caleb Martin still out, while the Wizards are keeping eyes on Richaun Holmes and Kyle Kuzma who are both questionable for this one. The Wizards have shown signs of life in their past five games or so. The Wizards just lost a bad one to the lowly Pistons and they're going to find it tough against this Heat team who just dismantled the Trail Blazers by a 60-point margin in their last outing. The line is hefty, but I think the Heat take care of business in this one.
