As a team, the Timberwolves shot 47 percent from the field and 12 of 35 from the 3-point line as they looked be in control when they erased an 18-point lead to take the lead in the fourth quarter, but they still couldn't get over the line as they had no answer for the Nuggets who made six free throws in the final 20.0 seconds to slip away in a close finish. The Timberwolves will meet the Warriors after this one.
