The Phoenix Suns and Cleveland Cavaliers meet Monday in NBA action at the Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse. We will look at this from a betting perspective and determine the best bets for this game. Here’s a Phoenix Suns vs Cleveland Cavaliers prediction.
Phoenix Suns
The Phoenix Suns have been in a rut as they've lost five of their last nine games overall and they will be hoping to bounce back here after having their two-game win streak snapped by the Celtics in a 117-107 loss on Saturday. Kevin Durant led the team with 45 points, 10 rebounds and six assists, Bradley Beal added 25 points on 10 of 20 shooting while Bol Bol chipped in with 13 points on six of seven shooting. As a team, the Suns shot 50 percent from the field and nine of 31 from the 3-point line as they worked hard to cut an early 15-point deficit to just three points, only to get blown out in the third quarter to fall behind by 15 points once again. The Suns will face the Celtics and Hornets after this game.
Cleveland Cavaliers
Meanwhile, the Cleveland Cavaliers have been in decent shape as they've won five of their last nine games overall and they will be hoping to bounce back here after getting routed by the Nets in a 120-101 loss last night. Georges Niang led the team with 20 points on eight of 12 shooting, Jarrett Allen added 15 points with nine rebounds and two blocks while Darius Garland chipped in with 14 points and five assists. As a team, the Cavaliers shot 48 percent from the field and 14 of 32 from the 3-point line as they traded with the Nets early on and trailed by just one point at halftime, before they leaked an unforgivable 44 points in the third quarter to get blown out in the end.

Phoenix Suns vs Cleveland Cavaliers prediction
The Suns are still missing Josh Okogie, Eric Gordon and Nassir Little, while the Cavaliers are still without Evan Mobley, Max Strus and Donovan Mitchell. The Suns have been playing well below their best lately, but it's no surprise that they've opened as road favorites given the Cavaliers' growing injury list. Be sure to check the linueps before tipoff, but assuming that the Cavaliers are depleted, I'm happy to take the Suns to take advantage and get the cover in this spot.
