The Detroit Pistons invade the Kaseya Center to do battle with the Miami Heat on Tuesday night. Here’s a Pistons vs Heat Prediction.
Detroit Pistons
The Detroit Pistons have been in a slump as they've lost eight of their last nine games overall and they will be hoping to snap a two-game skid after getting thrashed by the Magic in a 113-91 road loss on Sunday. Evan Fournier led the team with 17 points and five assists off the bench, Simone Fontecchio added 15 points while Jalen Duren chipped in with 11 points. As a team, the Pistons shot just 38 percent from the field and eight of 36 from the 3-point line as they struggled against the defense of the Magic and never looked like a threat despite forcing the Magic into 20 turnovers for the game. Cade Cunningham scored just nine points on four of 12 shooting while Ausar Thompson scored just eight points on two of 10 shooting.
Miami Heat
Meanwhile, the Miami Heat have been in red-hot form as they've won eight of their last 10 games overall and they will be eager to keep it going after outlasting the Jazz in a 126-120 home win on Saturday. Jimmy Butler led the team with 37 points and seven assists on 12 of 19 shooting, Bam Adebayo added 23 points on 10 of 15 shooting while Caleb Martin chipped in with 18 points off the bench. As a team, the Heat shot 52 percent from the field and 13 of 34 from the 3-point line as they struggled to contain the Jazz early on and had to claw their way back from an 11-point deficit, before they started to pull away midway through the fourth quarter thanks to key buckets from Butler and Adebayo down the stretch. The Heat will take on the Mavericks after this one.

Pistons vs Heat Prediction
The Pistons are still without Quentin Grimes, while the Heat are still missing Kevin Love, Tyler Herro and Josh Richardson. The Pistons haven't been quite as bad as their record suggests, but they didn't put up much of a fight on Sunday against the Magic. In contrast, the Heat have been in terrific form despite their injuries and they should be well-rested as they haven't played since Saturday, so I'll back the Heat and lay the points here.
