Bam Adebayo led the team in scoring with 22 points, Jimmy Butler added 21 points with seven rebounds and three assists while Terry Rozier chipped in with 19 points in a rare start. As a team, the Heat shot just 42 percent from the field and seven of 26 from the 3-point line as they worked hard to methodically cut an early 20-point deficit to just two points in the fourth quarter before the Nuggets escaped with the narrow win on the back of free throws down the stretch.
