Devin Booker led the team with 35 points and eight assists, Kevin Durant added 23 points while Eric Gordon chipped in with 16 points. As a team, the Suns shot 48 percent from the field and 15 of 36 from the 3-point line as they kept pace with the Mavericks in a closely contested first half, before they allowed 63 points in the second half to allow the Mavericks off the hook in the end. The Suns will take on the Lakers after this one.

Houston Rockets

Meanwhile, the Houston Rockets have been in a real slump as they've lost six of their last seven games overall and they will be hoping to snap a two-game skid after getting routed by the Pelicans in a 127-105 road loss last night. Ausar Thompson led the team with 22 points on nine of 13 shooting off the bench, Alperen Sengun added 20 points with nine rebounds on six of nine shooting while Cam Whitmore chipped in with 13 points off the bench. As a team, the Rockets shot 43 percent from the field and 15 of 41 from the 3-point line as they struggled right from the start, falling behind by 13 points at halftime, before they leaked 38 points in the third quarter to trail by as many as 29 points at one stage.
