CJ McCollum led the team with 28 points, six rebounds and six assists, Zion Williamson added 27 points with nine assists while Jonas Valanciunas chipped in with 20 points, 14 rebounds and three assists. As a team, the Pelicans shot 52 percent from the field and 16 of 41 from the 3-point line as they jumped all over the Rockets from the start, taking a double-digit lead into halftime before they put the game to bed early with a 38-point explosion in the third quarter.
