Jayson Tatum led the team with 41 points, 14 rebounds and five assists, Jaylen Brown added 19 points while Al Horford and Derrick White scored 16 points each. As a team, the Celtics shot 51 percent from the field and 15 of 37 from the 3-point line as they hit the ground running, pouring in 72 points in the first half to build a 23-point lead, before they took their foot off the gas in the fourth quarter to allow the Nets to bring the margin to single digits in the end. The Celtics will play against the Bulls after this game.
