The Atlanta Hawks and the Charlotte Hornets duke it out at the Spectrum Center on Wednesday night. Here’s a Hawks vs Hornets Prediction.
Atlanta Hawks
The Atlanta Hawks have been in decent shape lately as they've won six of their last nine games overall, but they will be hoping to bounce back here after having their two-game win streak halted by the Bulls in a 136-126 loss on Monday. Bogdan Bogdanovic led the team with 28 points and four assists off the bench, De'Andre Hunter added 23 points off the bench while Trae Young tallied 19 points with 14 assists on three of 14 shooting. As a team, the Hawks shot 46 percent from the field and 14 of 43 from the 3-point line which was good enough to hang in the contest in the first half, but their problems were on the defensive end as they allowed 76 points in the second half to fall well short in the end. The Hawks' starters were outscored by 102-71.
Charlotte Hornets
Meanwhile, the Charlotte Hornets look to have moved on from their ugly 10-game losing streak as they are now gunning for a rare third straight win after outlasting the Pacers in a 111-102 win on Monday. Grant Williams led the team with 21 points off the bench, Miles Bridges added 20 points with 10 rebounds and seven assists while Seth Curry chipped in with 18 points on seven of 11 shooting. As a team, the Hornets shot 53 percent from the field and 10 of 34 from the 3-point line as they showed plenty of fight to hang with the Pacers behind the strength of their bench, before they finally made their move in the fourth quarter to pull away and escape with the upset win at home.

Hawks vs Hornets Prediction
The Hawks are still shorthanded with AJ Griffin and Clint Capela still out, while the Hornets don't have a single player listed on the injury report. The Hornets have come to life with a couple of wins on the trot so they certainly have a shot to pull off the upset here, but I still think the Hawks have been playing well enough to get the win and cover on the road in this one.
