The Memphis Grizzlies travel to the Spectrum Center to take on the Charlotte Hornets on Saturday night. Here’s a Grizzlies vs Hornets Prediction.
Memphis Grizzlies
The Memphis Grizzlies have been in a real slump as they are now hoping to put an end to a seven-game slide after getting beaten by the Bulls in a 118-110 loss on Thursday. Jaren Jackson Jr led the team with 28 points on 11 of 22 shooting, GG Jackson added 27 points off the bench while Santi Aldama and Scottie Pippen Jr scored 15 points apiece. As a team, the Grizzlies shot 46 percent from the field and 18 of 46 from the 3-point line as they showed plenty of fight to hang with the Bulls in a really close contest, until the fourth quarter where they suffered a mental lapse and allowed 38 points to fall just short in the end.
Charlotte Hornets
Meanwhile, the Charlotte Hornets have been in a terrible slump as they've lost 17 of their last 19 games overall and they will be hoping to put an end to a 10-game losing streak after getting routed by the Bucks in a 120-84 road defeat last night. Brandon Miller and Nick Richards led the team with 16 points each, Bryce McGowens added 15 poitns off the bench while Miles Bridges chipped in with 11 points on just two of 16 shooting from the field. As a team, the Hornets shot just 34 percent from the field and seven of 29 from the 3-point line as they struggled right from the start, scoring just 17 points in the first quarter to fall behind by 28 points going into halftime and things only got worse in the second half where the Bucks ran riot. The Hornets will take on the Pacers after this one.

Grizzlies vs Hornets Prediction
The Grizzlies are still severely shorthanded with Ziaire Williams, Desmond Bane, Ja Morant and Marcus Smart all out, while the Hornets are still waiting on their newly acquired players to take the court. You really couldn't back either team with much confidence these days, but there is still a bit more to like about the Grizzlies who at least have Jackson Jr putting up big numbers on a nightly basis. The Hornets needed a roster shake up and I think things will get better for them, but I can't see anything but more struggles for them until those players are able to take the court. With that being said, I'll stick with the Grizzlies to snap their losing streak with a much-needed road win here.
