The Atlanta Hawks travel to the TD Garden to do battle with the Boston Celtics on Wednesday night. Here’s a Hawks vs Celtics Prediction.
Atlanta Hawks
The Atlanta Hawks were starting to get hot as they were riding a four-game win streak before they got stopped in their tracks by the Clippers in a 149-144 loss on Monday. De'Andre Hunter led the team with 27 points on 10 of 12 shooting off the bench, Trae Young added 25 points with 12 assists while Dejounte Murray chipped in with 21 points and seven assists. As a team, the Hawks shot 53 percent from the field and a sizzling 20 of 39 from the 3-point line as they poured in 38 points in the second quarter to claw their way back from an early 13-point deficit, only to leak 47 points in the fourth quarter to allow the Clippers off the hook in the end.
Boston Celtics
Meanwhile, the Boston Celtics have been in great form as they've won nine of their last 12 games overall and they will be eager to keep it going after blowing past the severely shorthanded Grizzlies in a 131-91 home win on Sunday. Jayson Tatum led the team with 34 points, eight rebounds and seven assists, Kristaps Porzingis added 26 points while Derrick White chipped in with 15 points. As a team, the Celtics shot 48 percent from the field and 19 of 51 from the 3-point line as they poured in 41 points in the second quarter to take a 20-point lead into halftime, before they dominated the fourth quarter by 32-15 to run away with it and improve to 23-3 at home this season. The Celtics will take on the Wizards after this one.

Hawks vs Celtics Prediction
The Celtics could be a little shorthanded here with Jrue Holiday listed as questionable due to a right elbow sprain, but they are still heavy road favorites against the Hawks in this one. The Hawks were on a nice run of four straight wins before they lost to the Clippers in a close one on Monday, so they will be quietly confident coming into this one, but the Celtics have barely missed a step over the past three weeks and they certainly made it look easy in Sunday's win. The Celtics beat the Hawks by 113-103 back on Nov 26 and I think we're in for a similar result here. I think the Celtics cruise and easily get the win, but I think the Hawks do earn the cover in the end.
