The Houston Rockets and the Indiana Pacers collide at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Tuesday night. Here’s a Rockets vs Pacers Prediction.
Houston Rockets
The Houston Rockets have been in poor form as they've lost eight of their last 12 games overall and they will be hoping for a better performance after getting routed by the Timberwolves in a 111-90 road defeat on Sunday. Alperen Sengun led the team with 15 points and 10 rebounds, Cam Whitmore added 14 points off the bench while Fred VanVleet chipped in with 11 points. As a team, the Rockets shot just 35 percent from the field as they played great defense to hold the Timberwolves to just 17 points in the second quarter to stay within striking distance at halftime, only to get blown out by 63-46 in the second half to lose big in the end. Jalen Green had a rough night as he scored just eight points on three of 15 shooting from the field and zero of five from the 3-point line.
Indiana Pacers
Meanwhile, the Indiana Pacers were struggling for a bit there as they were riding a three-game losing streak before they snapped out of it with a 115-99 road win over the lowly Hornets on Sunday. Pascal Siakam led the team with 25 points, eight rebounds and nine assists, Aaron Nesmith added 22 points with eight rebounds and four assists while Tyrese Haliburton chipped in with 17 points in just 20 minutes before leaving the game with a hamstring strain. As a team, the Pacers shot 48 percent from the field and 11 of 33 from the 3-point line, but they set up this win with their defense as they were always in control after restricting the Hornets to just 13 points in the first quarter. The Pacers will meet the Warriors and Knicks after this one.

Rockets vs Pacers Prediction
The Rockets are still missing Tari Eason for this one, while the Pacers are keeping eyes on Tyrese Haliburton and Jalen Smith who are both questionable here. The Rockets haven't been able to get anything going recently and they didn't look great in their big loss to the Timberwolves on Sunday, while hte Pacers were able to easily take down the Hornets in their last outing despite losing Haliburton midway through the game. It's tough to back the Pacers when there's an injury cloud hanging over two key players, but the Pacers have been the more consistent team and I think they can get the job done even if they're a little shorthanded here.
