The Houston Rockets play host to the Toronto Raptors at the Toyota Center on Friday night. Here’s a Raptors vs Rockets Prediction.
Toronto Raptors
The Toronto Raptors have been in terrible shape as they've lost nine of their last 11 games overall, but they will be feeling much better after putting an end to a five-game slide with a 118-107 road win over the Bulls on Tuesday. Gary Trent Jr led the team with 24 points on nine of 15 shooting, Bruce Brown added 19 points while Thaddeus Young and Dennis Schroder each scored 16 points. As a team, the Raptors shot 51 percent from the field and 14 of 29 from the 3-point line as they struggled to get going, falling behind by 16 points in the first half, before they dominated the second half by 65-44 to make it look easy in the end. The Raptors will meet the Thunder after this one.
Houston Rockets
Meanwhile, the Houston Rockets have been in poor form as they've lost seven of their last 10 games overall and they will be hoping to bounce back here after getting thrashed by the Pelicans in a 110-99 loss on Wednesday. Jalen Green led the team with 31 points on 11 of 20 shooting, Cam Whitmore added 17 points off the bench, Fred VanVleet tallied 16 points with five assists while Alperen Sengun chipped in with 10 points, 10 rebounds and five assists. As a team, the Rockets shot just 40 percent from the field and 13 of 44 from the 3-point line, but they got off to a slow start and were always a couple steps behind the Pelicans until the fourth quarter where they trailed by as many as 20 points.

Raptors vs Rockets Prediction
The Raptors could be shorthanded again with Jakob Poeltl, Immanuel Quickley and RJ Barrett all questionable, while the Rockets are keeping an eye on Alperen Sengun who is questionable with an illness. The Raptors were able to snap a five-game skid with a much-needed win over the Bulls on Tuesday, but they're still one of the coldest teams in the league along with the Rockets who haven't looked like the same team that got off to a quick start this season. You couldn't back either team with much confidence these days, but the Raptors could be missing a bunch of talent here, so I'm going with the Rockets to take advantage at home.
