The Detroit Pistons and the Cleveland Cavaliers collide at the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse on Wednesday night. Here’s a Pistons vs Cavs Prediction.
Detroit Pistons
The Detroit Pistons have been in a rut as they've lost four of their last seven games overall, but they will be eager to build some momenutm after blowing past the red-hot Thunder in a shocking 120-104 home win on Sunday. Jalen Duren led the team with 22 points, 21 rebounds and six assists on nine of 13 shooting, Jaden Ivey added 19 points with eight rebounds and six assists while Bojan Bogdanovic chipped in with 17 points. As a team, the Pistons shot 49 percent from the field and 11 of 26 from the 3-point line as they took control of the contest with a season-high 46 points in the second quarter, before they held the Thunder to just 18 points in the fourth quarter to run away with it in a blowout.

Cleveland Cavaliers
Meanwhile, the Cleveland Cavaliers have been in red-hot form as they've won 10 of their last 11 games overall and they will be hoping to snap a two-game skid after getting beaten by the Clippers in a 118-108 win on Monday. Donovan Mitchell led the team with 28 points and 12 assists, Jarrett Allen tallied 20 points with 17 rebounds while Isaac Okoro chipped in with 17 points. As a team, the Cavaliers shot 48 percent from the field and 13 of 40 from the 3-point line as they wrestled with the Clippers in a close contest that remained within single digits until late in the third quarter where the Cavaliers took a 12-point lead which was more than enough to hold off the Clippers.

Pistons vs Cavs Prediction
The Pistons are shorthanded again as Isaiah Stewart has already been ruled out, but they should have Cade Cunningham back in the lineup, while the Cavaliers are still without Darius Garland and Ty Jerome. The Pistons have sprung to life with three wins in their past seven games and they looked like a different team in their shock upset win over the Thunder on Sunday. The Cavaliers have arguably been the hottest team in the league, they've barely missed a step over their past 10 games and they just took down one of the hottest teams in the Clippers. The line is hefty for this one and the Pistons have been playing better lately, but I'm still sticking with the surging Cavaliers to take care of business at home.
