As a team, the Nuggets shot 51 percent from the field and eight of 31 from the 3-point line, but this win was more about their defense as they trailed for most of the first half, before they clamped down defensively and restricted the Celtics to just two points in the final 4:50 to snap their 20-game home win streak. The Nuggets will play against the Pacers after this one.

Washington Wizards

Meanwhile, the Washington Wizards have been in a major slump as they've lost nine of their last 10 games overall and they will be hoping to arrest a three-game skid after falling just short to the Spurs in a 131-127 loss last night. Marvin Bagley led the team with 21 points and 12 rebounds, Deni Avdija, Jordan Poole and Corey Kispert scored 16 points each while Tyus Jones chipped in with 13 points and six assists. As a team, the Wizards shot 47 percent from the field and nine of 29 from the 3-point line as they looked to be in full control when they led by 12 points midway through the fourth quarter, only to get outscored by 22-6 in the final 4:43 to suffer yet another disappointing defeat at home.
