The Chicago Bulls pay a visit to the Philadelphia 76ers at the Wells Fargo Center on Tuesday night. Here’s a Bulls vs 76ers Prediction.
Chicago Bulls
The Chicago Bulls have been in fine form as they've won five of their last seven games overall and they will be eager to keep it going after beating the 76ers in a 105-92 home win on Saturday. DeMar DeRozan led the team with 24 points, six rebounds and five assists, Coby White added 20 points with eight rebounds while Andre Drummond chipped in with 15 points, 23 rebounds and three blocks. As a team, the Bulls shot 50 percent from the field and seven of 25 from the 3-point line, but you can credit this win to their defense as they held the 76ers to just 17 points in the first quarter and just kept building on the lead to earn the solid win over the shorthanded 76ers. The Bulls will meet the Knicks after this one and then will play a back-to-back set against the Hornets.
Chicago Bulls Player Facts
- Alex Caruso ranks 6th amongst qualified players for 3P% (45.5%) this season.
- Coby White ranks 23rd amongst qualified players for three-pointers made Per Game (2.9) this season.
Philadelphia 76ers
Meanwhile, the Philadelphia 76ers have been in great shape as they've won 10 of their last 13 games overall, but they will be hoping to bounce back here after getting routed by the Bulls on Saturday. Tyrese Maxey led the team in scoring with 20 points and seven assists, Tobias Harris added 15 points, seven rebounds and four assists while Kelly Oubre Jr chipped in wth 11 points. As a team, the 76ers shot just 39 percent from the field and nine of 38 from the 3-point line as they struggled to find their offense from the start and trailed by as many as 18 points. Joel Embiid sat out the game with a sprained ankle, but he could be back here as he isn't listed on the injury report.
Philadelphia 76ers Player Facts
- Joel Embiid ranks 1st amongst qualified players for points per game (35.0) this season.
- Tobias Harris ranks 6th amongst qualified players for FT% (90.2%) this season.
Matchup/League Facts
- The 76ers rank 1st in the league for steals per game this season (9.1).
- The 76ers rank 1st in the league for free throws made per game this season (22.8).
- The Bulls rank 1st in the league for turnovers per game this season (12.0).
- The Bulls rank 1st in the league for opponent field goal attempts per game this season (85.5).
Bulls vs 76ers Prediction
The Bulls are still missing Zach LaVine and Nikola Vucevic, while the 76ers are still without De'Anthony Melton. The Bulls have been flying under the radar all season, beating teams on a regular basis despite their injuries and the 76ers were the latest victims of their impressive run. Be sure to check the lineups before tipoff, but if Embiid does indeed return, I like the 76ers to bounce back in this one. The line is hefty, so while I'm taking the 76ers to get their revenge, I still like the Bulls to hang around long enough to get the cover at least.
