The Toronto Raptors invade Little Caesars Arena to battle the Detroit Pistons on Saturday night. Here’s a Raptors vs Pistons Prediction.
Toronto Raptors
The Toronto Raptors have been in a slump as they've lost nine of their last 12 games overall and they will be hoping to bounce back here after falling painfully short to the Celtics in a 120-118 road defeat last night. Scottie Barnes drained seven 3-pointers to lead the team with 30 points, 10 rebounds and five assists, Pascal Siakam added 27 points with five assists while Dennis Schroder chipped in with 15 points and nine assists off the bench. As a team, the Raptors shot 46 percent from the field and 17 of 44 from the 3-point line as they showed plenty of fight to claw their way back from a 20-point deficit to take the lead late in the fourth quarter, only to allow the Celtics to slip away in the end. The Raptors will face the Cavs, Grizzlies, Kings, and Warriors after this game.
Detroit Pistons
Meanwhile, the Detroit Pistons have been in a world of hurt as they are now hoping to put an end to a 28-game losing streak after falling painfully short to the Celtics in a 128-122 overtime road defeat on Thursday. Cade Cunningham led the team with 31 points and nine assists on 12 of 22 shooting, Jaden Ivey added 22 points with 10 rebounds and four assists while Bojan Bogdanovic chipped in with 17 points, 12 rebounds and six assists. As a team, the Pistons shot 47 percent from the field and 14 of 43 from the 3-point line as they wasted a 21-point lead in regulation, before they allowed 20 points in overtime to suffer yet another painful loss on this streak. The Pistons will take on the Rockets and Jazz after this one.

- The Raptors rank 30th in the league for free throw percentage this season (73.3%).

Raptors vs Pistons Prediction
The Raptors are still shorthanded with Christian Koloko and Garrett Temple both out, while the Pistons are still without Monte Morris and Isaiah Stewart. The Raptors haven't been able to build any momentum this season, but they were more than competitive against the red-hot Celtics last night. The Pistons are mired in a historic slump, but they too were good enough to push the Celtics to overtime in their last outing. I might be tempted to take the Pistons if we were getting more free points, but with the line so short, I'll stick with the Raptors to get the win and cover on the road.
