The Memphis Grizzlies have been in terrible form as they've lost eight of their first nine games overall and they will be hoping to snap a two-game skid after getting beaten by the Jazz in a 127-121 loss on Friday. Desmond Bane led the team with 37 points and eight assists on 14 of 28 shooting, Bismack Biyombo added 15 points with 15 rebounds while Jaren Jackson Jr and Luke Kennard scored 14 points each. As a team, the Grizzlies shot 45 percent from the field and 19 of 48 from the 3-point line, but they played almost no defense early on and were always fighting an uphill battle after allowing the Jazz to explode for 42 points in the second quarter to put them behind by 21 points.

Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Clippers will be hoping to put a halt to a four-game slide after getting run over by the Mavericks in a 144-126 road loss on Friday. Kawhi Leonard led the team with 26 points, Bones Hyland added 17 points and six assists off the bench while Russell Westbrook and James Harden scored 14 points each. As a team, the Clippers shot 48 percent from the field and eight of 27 from the 3-point line, but they suffered a defensive lapse and were just never in the contest after getting outscored by an incredible 47-18 in a nightmare second quarter.

The Grizzlies are still shorthanded as they are missing Derrick Rose, Xavier Tillman and Steven Adams, while the Clippers are still without Mason Plumlee. The Grizzlies have been the coldest team in the league so far and their confidence took another gut shot after losing to the struggling Jazz in their last outing. The Clippers have really been underperforming lately given the firepower they have in their starting lineup, but surely they can put it all together against this depleted Grizzlies team. The line is higher than I'd like, but I will lean with the Clippers to get the much-needed win and cover at home.
