Franz Wagner had a strong game finishing with 16 points, eight rebounds, and three assists. In this game Germany is going to need the defense to step up in a big way.

The United States had that shocking loss against Lithuania two games ago but other than that game they haven’t really had any hiccups. In the last game against Italy, the offense scored 100 points, but even more impressive was the defense that gave up only 63 points. The United States shot 53.7 percent from the field and 47.2 percent from behind the three point line. Anthony Edwards has been the most impressive player of the tournament for the United States, but in the last game, they scored only three points. It’s quite impressive the USA put up 100 points and the offense only scored three points. Mikal Bridges was the top player putting up 24 points and seven rebounds.
