Serbia and Canada face off on Friday in the seminfinals of the FIBA World Cup. The winner of this game will play either the United States or Germany.

Serbia’s only loss during the tournament came against Italy and outside of that they have been pretty dominant. That loss against Italy was only by two points. Two games ago against the Dominican Republic, Serbia was able to secure the 112-79 victory and in the last game against Lithuania, Serbia was able to secure an 87-68 victory. At the end of the first quarter, they were actually down by one point, but they dominated the rest of the game and that led to the victory. Serbia shot 55 percent from the field and 40.9 percent from behind the three point line. Serbia was led by Bogan Bogdanovic who had another strong game finishing with 21 points, four rebounds, and three assists. There were three different players that finished with at least 11 points. 

Canada Betting Preview

On the other side of this matchup is Canada whose only loss this tournament came against Brazil and that was by four points. The offense only managed 65 points in that game. In the next game it looked like they might be knocked out of the World Cup and Olympics, but they outscored Spain 27-12 in the 4th quarter and that was enough for the 88-85 victory. In the last game against Slovenia, Canada scored 100 points and that was enough for the 11 point victory. Canada shot 50.8 percent from the field and 36.7 percent from behind the three point line. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander looks like a real star and he finished the last game with 31 points, 10 rebounds, and four assists.
