Two games ago against Iran, Spain also was able to secure the 85-65 win. The offense wasn’t good enough in three of the four quarters and they are going to need the offense to be better here. Spain was outshot 44.1 percent to 39.6 percent from the field. Canada is coming off a shocking loss and now they have all kinds of pressure on them. If they lose this game not only will they go home, they also could have to go into a last chance qualifier to make the 2024 Olympics. Canada had won their first three games in the FIBA World Cup, and they looked to be in good shape. In the last game against Brazil they also looked to be in good shape heading into the 4th quarter, but they were outscored 24-13 in the 4th quarter and they ended up losing 69-65. Canada shot only 33.3 percent of the field and 26.7 percent from behind the three point line. Shai Gilgeous Alexander has had a huge tournament and he had another big game against Brazil putting up 23 points, five rebounds, and two assists. Luguentz Dort also put up 17 points and five rebounds.
