The Los Angeles Lakers and Golden State Warriors meet Wednesday in Game 5 of the NBA West Second Round Playoffs at the Chase Center. Let’s preview this game and give out a pick and prediction.

LeBron James is averaging 22.6 points and 10.2 rebounds, while Anthony Davis is averaging 21.4 points and 14 rebounds. D’Angelo Russell is the third double-digit scorer and Austin Reaves is grabbing 4.5 rebounds. The Los Angeles Lakers are shooting 31.4 percent from beyond the arc and 80.3 percent from the free throw line. The Los Angeles Lakers are allowing 33.8 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 47.7 rebounds per game.
The Golden State Warriors are averaging 113.5 points on 44.9 percent shooting and allowing 113.1 points on 44.2 percent shooting. Stephen Curry is averaging 30.6 points and 6 assists, while Klay Thompson is averaging 20.3 points and 2 assists. The Golden State Warriors are allowing 31 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 46.5 rebounds per game.
The Lakers are 2-5 ATS in their last 7 road games and 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games overall. The Warriors are 41-19-1 ATS in their last 61 home games and 2-5 ATS in their last 7 games playing on 1 days rest. The over is 8-2 in Lakers last 10 road games. The over is 5-2 in Warriors last 7 home games. The Lakers are 6-1 ATS in the last 7 meetings.
I believe the Golden State Warriors win this game at home where they've played their best ball and I still think they have a chance to win this series despite the deficit. A bounce here or a bounce there and the Warriors are in much better shape, so it's not ridiculous to think they can't get back in this thing. With all that said, 7 points is a bit outrageous, as the Warriors aren't getting consistent contributions outside of Curry, and he has to work extremely hard just to keep things close. Where is Jordan Poole? Coming back home doesn't make everything else disappear. Lot of points. Give me the Lakers.
