The Minnesota Timberwolves and the Brooklyn Nets duke it out at the Barclays Center on Tuesday night.

Anthony Edwards led the way with 37 points and six assists on 15 of 30 shooting, Kyle Anderson added 13 points, eight rebounds and seven assists off the bench while Rudy Gobert tallied 10 points with 15 rebounds. As a team, the Timberwolves shot 48 percent from the field and 11 of 26 from the 3-point line as they poured in 33 points in the second quarter to build a 12-point lead, only to go cold and manage just 19 points in the fourth quarter to allow the slumping Trail Blazers to run them down and escape on free throws.
Meanwhile, the Brooklyn Nets have been in decent form as they’ve reeled off four wins in their last five outings and they will be aiming for a fourth straight victory after sneaking past the Jazz in a 111-110 win on Sunday. Mikal Bridges led the way with 30 points, seven rebounds and three steals, Cam Johnson added 18 points while Spencer Dinwiddie chipped in with 17 points and 12 assists. As a team, the Nets shot 44 percent from the field and nine of 32 from the 3-point line as they dominated the first quarter to lead by as many as 23 points, which proved to be just enough in the end as they were lucky to escape after Seth Curry missed two crucial free throws with 5.1 seconds left on the clock.
Looking at the betting trends, the Timberwolves are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 road games, 4-1 ATS in their last five games against a team with a winning record and 1-4 ATS in their last five games following a loss.
