The Cleveland Cavaliers and the Orlando Magic collide at the Amway Center on Tuesday night.
The Cleveland Cavaliers have been in great form as they’ve won seven of their last 10 games overall and they will be looking to maintain that momentum after taking down the Pacers in a 115-105 win on Sunday. Donovan Mitchell led the way with 30 points on 14 of 25 shooting, Darius Garland added 20 points with six assists while Jarrett Allen chipped in with 15 points. As a team, the Cavaliers shot 48 percent from the field and nine of 24 from the 3-point line as they went back and forth with the Pacers in a close contest, until the fourth quarter where they restricted the Pacers to just 18 points to pull away and win comfortably in the end.
Meanwhile, the Orlando Magic have been on a nice run as they’ve won five of their last six games overall and they will be gunning for a third straight victory after making light work of the Pistons in a 128-102 win on Sunday. Jalen Suggs led the team in scoring with 18 points off the bench, Cole Anthony added 17 points while Franz Wagner chipped in with 16 points and eight assists. As a team, the Magic shot 57 percent from the field and 17 of 33 from the 3-point line as they got off to a quick start and simply outscored the Pistons in every quarter to make it look easy in this one. A total of eight players finished in double figures in scoring and the game was always under control after limiting the Pistons to just 15 points in the second quarter.
Looking at the betting trends, the Cavaliers are 4-1 ATS in their last five games against a team with a losing record and 5-2 ATS in their last seven games following a loss. The Magic are 5-0 ATS in their last five home games, 21-7 ATS in their last 28 games against a team with a winning record and 10-1 ATS in their last 11 games overall.
Head to head, the under is 13-3 in the last 16 meetings overall, the Cavaliers are 1-4 ATS in the last five meetings in Orlando and the Cavaliers are 3-7 ATS in the last 10 meetings overall.
The Cavaliers have ruled out Isaac Okoro and Dylan Windler again, while the Magic are again missing Kevon Harris and Jonathan Isaac. The Cavaliers are coming into this meeting with plenty of momentum, but so are the Magic who have sprung to life over their past six games or so. The Cavaliers are deserved favorites and they have more to play for at this stage of the season, but the Cavaliers are only 3-7 ATS in the last 10 meetings overall and I think that trend continues here as the Magic push them to the end.
